Tropical Sunrise Inn

 Located on the Beautiful Big Island of Hawaii, Tropical Sunrise Inn is located in the Puna District (Southeast Coast). We are lucky to have tide pools for snorkeling, surfing, waterfalls, and the volcano viewing, all within a half hour drive. The sunrise comes up over the ocean, so if you are an early bird, you can see a beautiful site. We also have black sand beaches, turtles, swimming, hiking, museums, Volcano National Park, Mauna Kea Observatory, and downtown Hilo within a short distance.

 4 blocks from the ocean! Perfect for vacation, or a rental if you are building in this area. There is a small ocean view from the upper lanai, and has beautiful sunrises. It has three plus bedrooms & 3 ½ baths. Will sleep 8 comfortably. Master bedroom is large with a walk in closet, and nice bathroom with a large Jacuzzi tub. Laundry room is upstairs by bedrooms. The screened lanai has an extra bedroom with TV, and small refrigerator, and microwave, and a sitting area. The kitchen has all of the pans, gadgets, margarita maker, spices etc., it has dark green granite with wine colored veins in it, and a breakfast bar with stools. 

 Beautiful landscaping with hibiscus, plumeria, and orchids, we also have avocado, soursop, kukui nut, lemon, orange, grapefruit trees, bananas, strawberries, tomatoes, plus 10 or so pineapple plants. Backyard is very private, covered lanai with a gas bbq grill, table and chairs, and a small fenced area.

 In our neighborhood there is a great park with picnic tables, and the ocean is right there. The park and the ocean are within a short walking distance. We have spotted whales, turtles, and spinner dolphins from the cliffs by the park.

 Pahoa has about 12 restaurants in this little historic town. There is American, Italian, Mexican, Fish & Chips, Sushi & Thai food all within about 10 minutes. Every Sunday is the Maku’u Farmers Marker that has fresh produce, clothes, souvenirs, jewelry, and vendors with food for a nice lunch. Hilo also has a farmer’s market most days too.

 We are lucky to have all of these incredible places within a half an hour drive, tide pools for snorkeling, surfing, sand dunes, waterfalls, hot ponds, and the volcano viewing.

 This island has so much to offer, including lava boat tours, fishing, kayaking, a luau, a zip line tour, manta ray dive and star gazing on Mauna Kea, to list a few.
